WinISO can help you create, edit, and burn disc images. Likewise, it also lets you convert formats, extract contents, and mount an image to a virtual drive. The application supports practically all file systems, including ISO9660, UDF, HFS, DVD, DVD video, and hybrid CD/DVD. Moreover, it also allows you to handle bootable disc images.
Using this tool, you can easily create new images or modify existing ones. Depending on the file system selected, you can effortlessly modify disc structure by creating folders, deleting files, or adding new ones. In the same manner, this application simplifies the process of making a copy image of your favorite discs. Luckily, instead of supporting just a few formats, as it is the case with many other similar applications, WinISO allows saving disc contents in such formats as NRG, CUE, BIN, ISO, MDS, MDF, CCD, IMG and DVD. This guarantees the resulting image is compatible with popular disc burners as Nero BurningRom and Alcohol 120%.

In general terms, WinISO is an excellent application allowing most operations related to disc images. It has a very nice interface that allows even beginners to use it without much trouble.

  • It supports mounting an image to a virtual drive.
  • It supports bootable disc images.
  • It supports multiple image formats and file systems.
  • It is easy to use.

  • It does not allow customizing menu themes.
